The Molecular Pathology Department at Dahl-Chase Diagnostic Services performs molecular analysis of solid tumors, hematopathology FISH testing, and infectious disease testing on cytology specimens.

Our mission is to provide our clinicians with high quality molecular testing on a variety of pathology specimens in a timely manner.

The laboratory is staffed with highly competent, certified molecular personnel trained in state-of-the-art molecular methodologies and techniques.

We accept a wide variety of specimens for testing including, but not limited to; peripheral and whole blood specimens, bone marrow specimens, non-gyn and gyn cytology samples, and formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) cell blocks and tissue specimens.

All specimens must be labeled with the full patient name, second identifier (date of birth or medical record number), and source of the specimen.

  • FISH - ALK / ROS-1 - 7-10 days
  • KRAS, MSI, BRAF, EGFR - 7-10 days
  • FISH - Hematopathology - 4-7 days
